According to French publication l‘EQUIPE, Zlatan
Ibrahimovic has been cleared to play against Barcelona in the first leg
of the Champions League quaterfinal in Paris. The forward, who was
initially suspended for two matches after his sending off in the first
leg tie against Valencia in the previous round, has reportedly seen his
ban reduced to one match on the basis of a technicality.
Provided the reports are true, this will
allow the Swede two opportunities against his former club. The
reduction in the ban is also a big lift for PSG, as the towering striker
is their most potent threat, with 30 goals and 10 assists so far this
season.
